New, however, is the SRAM "SX Eagle" derailleur. It offers the entry into the 12-speed segment of SRAM "Eagle" groups. With its 11-50 teeth, it always offers the right gear for tours from flat terrain to mid mountain ranges.
Also, the powerful BOSCH "Performance CX" motor drives you forward thanks to its four support levels. In the fourth generation, as found here on the "Cairon S 4.0", it is one of the most powerful and sophisticated drives for E-MTBs. With the energy from the 625 Wh "PowerTube" battery, it expands your touring horizons and virtually levels out climbs. It lives in the down tube of the frame and thus gives it a fresh, clean appearance.
With its all-round qualities, the E-Hardtail is at home on moderate mountain bike tours, with as many single trails as you want. On tour, the bike scores with its stable straight-line stability, the 110 mm travel of the RST fork and the 60 mm wide "Tough Tom" SCHWALBE tires. To keep the thrust in check, the "Cairon S 4.0" is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes from TEKTRO, whose force can also be finely dosed on long descents. The disc diameter is 180 mm front and rear.
